OYLA 2025 / 2026 Workshop & Program Schedule has been released

The Omega Youth Leadership Academy is proud to present a dynamic and purpose-driven lineup of events, workshops, and experiences for the 2025–2026 program year! From life skills and leadership training to college exploration and community service, our schedule is designed to develop the whole student — mind, body, and purpose.

What’s Ahead for 2025–2026:

October 25, 2025 – Decision-Making Workshop: Strengthen critical thinking, confidence, and character in a hands-on workshop designed to sharpen everyday leadership skills.

November 22, 2025 – Community Service: Food Basket Distribution: OYLA youth give back by supporting families in need at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.

December 2025 – Winter Break

January 15, 2026 – MLK March: Stand for justice. March for legacy. Honor Dr. King with OYLA in a powerful community tribute.

January 24, 2026 – Entrepreneurial & Fundraising Workshop: Get business-minded! Learn how to pitch ideas, build ventures, and raise funds like a young CEO.

February 12–14, 2026 – West Coast HBCU College Expo (Southern California): Explore top HBCUs, meet recruiters, and get inspired about your future — an unforgettable college experience.

March 21, 2026 – Police Academy Site Visit & Simulation Day: Go behind the scenes with local law enforcement and experience real-world public safety scenarios in a safe, educational setting.

April 25, 2026 – Larry C. Ross Living Above the Influence Conference: Empowering young men to rise above negative influences and step into leadership with vision, strength, and self-control.

May 23, 2026 – Business of Sports Workshop: Explore the world beyond the game -- Learn about careers that are non-athletic and hear from some former athletes regarding their journey into sports related jobs without playing in the game.

June 2026 – Summer Break

July 11, 18, 25, 2026 – Middle School Computer Camp (Saturdays): Tech meets leadership! Middle schoolers dive into computer skills and coding basics in this fun, hands-on summer series.

August 29, 2026 – Back-to-School Community Mixer: Reconnect, recharge, and kick off the school year strong with food, games, and positive energy for the whole OYLA family.
